Privacy notice (draft)

Template for review. This is not legal advice and it is not a finished policy. Have a California attorney read it before this site is published.

Who this draft talks about

Nextstar Connect is the name on this website. The office address is 1968 S Coast Hwy, Laguna Beach, CA 92651. Phone (909) 217-4462. Email info@nextstarremodeling.com. Replace this paragraph with the legal entity that actually operates the site.

What the forms collect

Quote and contact forms ask for a name, a phone number, and details about a project such as ZIP code, trade, timeline, budget range, and notes. Email is optional unless you ask us to reply by email. Each submission records whether the call box and the text box were checked. Both boxes start unchecked. Consent is not required to buy.

Calls and texts

If you check the call box, the draft says we may call you about that project. If you check the text box, the draft says we may text you. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts. This template does not authorize marketing blasts to people who did not ask.

How a request is stored right now

By default the form handler keeps the request in memory on the server and does not send email. If the Web3Forms switch is later turned on, the same fields would be sent to that provider. Say so here, with that provider’s name, before the switch is flipped.

Analytics

This site does not load an analytics or advertising script.

California privacy rights (placeholder)

A finished policy should explain access, deletion, and correction rights under the CCPA/CPRA, whether personal information is sold or shared, and how to submit a request. Those sentences are not written here on purpose. A lawyer should write them for the entity that owns the leads.
